The Swimming Pool
The heated swimming pool is available to all our guests and is a good size (12m × 5m) for keen swimmers. There is a safety ledge all the way round for those who are less confident. At the shallow end the roman steps face across the width, making a safe starting point for young children or non-swimmers.
The area around the pool is spacious: a paved sun terrace, two areas of decking and a quiet shady area at the far end.
The “space dome” – a retractable pool cover – maintains the water temperature and ensures that you can swim early and late in the season in comfort.
There is a very pleasant solar shower by the pool.
The water is gently purified by a salt system, kinder to sensitive skins and the environment than totally chlorinated systems. The pool is fenced to current French law safety standards to ensure young children cannot enter the pool area unaccompanied.
We are permanently resident, and are able to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and water quality.
